Creative Direction
A MARKETING FILM FOR TODAY’S WORLD
David Land
BRAND DISCOVERY + STRATEGY, EXTERNAL MESSAGING & COMMUNICATIONS, PSYCHOLOGICAL SALES TECHNIQUES, WEBSITE + SOCIAL MEDIA CONSULTING
Work/Home is a clever take on the merging of family life and the work we do since we all began to shelter in place. David is a gifted photographer and director, and it was really fun to join together with him to showcase his home and creative family, and to distill his capabilities and attributes in an engaging way for the home décor and lifestyle market.

A FILM CONCEIVED FOR THE PHARMA INDUSTRY
Planes: Directed by Callie Lipkin
We worked with Chicago-based photographer + director Callie Lipkin in Creative Directing a short narrative film rooted in childhood memories and family relationships.
A LONGTERM CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT
FOR THE HOME SECTOR
John Wilkes
“How we Live” is one the market categories we most love to work in! So, we were excited to collaborate with Brooklyn-based conceptual still life photographer and fine artist John Wilkes on the development of an idea-based body of work for the home sector. It was an opportunity to bring a witty, unexpected and cerebral twist to the concepts we created and executed.
Working mostly in camera, cleaning brushes have bristles like eyelashes, Lucite furniture flies through the air with the great of ease, and tiny chairs live inside the glass canisters that would normally hold our teabags. Fun!
A VALUES-BASED PHOTOGRAPHIC FASHION PROJECT
Matthew Jordan Smith
in recent years , we have been dedicated to bringing our clients’ values forward as part of the transformational strategic work we do with them. “The Hyphenates" came out of Beth and Mercurylab’s appreciation of people in the fashion world who are giving back.
“The Hypenates” focuses on models who have their hands and hearts deeply grounded in in charities and social causes beyond fashion. Dynamically informed by Robert Longo’s dynamic Men in the Cities series, we used new and vintage fashion pieces mixed with the models' own clothing, implying the fused lives they live where fashion and heart meet.
“If there is one thing you can do that will help your career, it's spend time with Beth. The only thing I regret is not meeting her at the beginning of my career. The first day of working with her you'll understand the importance of what she brings to the table. I can't say enough about what she's done for me. As artists we are so closely tied to our work and sometimes we can't see the trees for the forest. I now see clearly and her voice is always in my head.”
